INTRODUCTION
The department started in the year 2002.The department of skin, STD ( Sexually transmitted diseases ) and Leprosy is providing OPD and indoor services.The department caters to patients with various skin diseases including leprosy.The department offers O.P.D and indoor servicies to the patients.
FEATURES
OPD services include curative (treatment) and preventive services for skin disease.
Regular Skin O.P.D from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. daily except Friday. On average 25-30 patients attend skin O.P.D daily.

- Intralesional injections for Keloids
- Chemical Phenol and T.C.A ( Trichloracetic Acid ) peels and cauterization
- Electric Cautery (hyfreactor ) for waqrts, molluscum contagiosum and skin tags. It is also used for Hair Removal
- CHEMICAL PEELS FOR MELASMA
- EXCISION
- SKIN BIOPSY
EQUIPMENT
Beside the regular office equipments, other includes surgical instruments includes skin cautery with MONOPOLAR and EPICATION electrodes.
FUTURE PLANS
We plan to have a CRYOSURGERY UNIT for CRYOSURGERY & PUVA/UVB unit later for which more space would be required. A regular indoor facility(ward) is also purposed.
