SKIN
INTRODUCTION
The department started in the year 2002.The department of skin, STD (Sexually transmitted diseases) and Leprosy is providing OPD and indoor services. The department caters to patients with various skin diseases including leprosy. The department offers O.P.D and indoor services to the patients.
FEATURES
OPD services include curative (treatment) and preventive services for skin disease.
Regular Skin O.P.D from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. daily except Monday. On average 40-50 patients attend skin O.P.D daily.

- Comedone Extraction / Intra lesional Injections for Acne
- Intra lesional injections for Keloids
- Chemical Phenol and T.C.A ( Trichloracetic Acid ) peels for melasma
- Electric Cautery (hyfreactor ) for warts, molluscum contagiosum and skin tags. It is also used for Hair Removal
- EXCISION of moles by stitch less surgery
- SKIN BIOPSY
- Blister skin grafting for vitilago (White patches)
- Patch test for allergy
EQUIPMENT
Beside the regular office equipments, other includes surgical instruments includes skin cautery with MONOPOLAR and EPILATION electrodes.
FUTURE PLANS
We plan to have a CRYOSURGERY UNIT for CRYOSURGERY & PUVA/UVB unit later for which more space would be required. A regular indoor facility (ward) is also purposed.
