The intensive care unit of this hospital, which is five beds unit was inaugurated on 18 th August, 2003 by Bhai Jiwan Singh Ji of Canada and sardar Jaswinder singh Kohli of U.K. and the ceremony was presided over by Bhai Jasbir Singh JI Khalsa, Khannawale. Ceremony was attended by large no. of sangat of this area.
This wing is equipped with latest gadgets like ventilators, bed side panels, bed side monitors attached with central workstation, defibrillator, ECG machines, Xray, electro lights etc. Around the clock doctors and nurses are available to meet any; kind of emergency. Trauma center has been dealing with all types of emergencies like head injuries , bone fractures, shock management, vascular surgeries, poisoning cases, burn cases, critical accident cases etc.
The intensive care unit wing is also supported by caridologist, neuro surgeon, gastroentiologist, Gen. Surgeon and orthopeadician etc.
