Founder Chairman - 'Panth Rattan' Bhai Sahib Bhai Jasbir Singh Khalsa Khannewale was born in Chakri Village in Pakistan . He was born in a simple family. His father Sardar Inder Singh was a custodian. His mother Sardarni Parvati Kaur, was a pious and religious soul. She was his source of inspiration and was instrumental in putting Bhai Sahib on the religious path. He was two and a half years old when his parents shifted to Amritsar during the partition of the country and then to Sangrur where Bhai Sahib started his academic carrier. He used to take keen interest in religious studies. His discussions on religious matters were always inspired by "Gurbani".
Since early age Bhai Sahib Bhai Jasbir Singh Ji Khalsa was generous in making friends and was a force to stand against all odds on truth & righteousness. He was always very inquisitive about the meaning of life and had firm belief in the oneness of God. He practiced the philosophy and thought of "Gurbani" in his real life. As a child also, he was unusually gifted and excelled in all fields of life including academic/social/ religious and would go deep to the root of all aspects. He settled down at Khanna for his business. As a young man Bhai Sahib used to spend, long hours absorbed in meditation and in religious discussions with holy men . Bhai Sahib though worked during the day but in the ambrosial hours of the fragrant dawn he used to meditate and recite Kirtan. He inspired Sangat to pray the God Almighty as envisaged in "Gurbani". Bhai Sahib was affectionately addressed as "Veer Ji" by Sangat.
As a Gur Sikh he was always humble and considered himself to be the servant of "The Guru" and Sangat. As a true Sikh and follower of Sikhism he did not believe in caste and had strong belief in the principles of " Gurbani" . He always preached the basic principles of 'Shabad Guru' and all his illustrations in "Katha & Kirtan" advocated the authenticity of "Gurbani". He traveled extensively throughout the country and abroad to spread the message of Sikh Gurus. Veerji chose the examples of daily life to preach the message of "Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji" while giving the practical illustrations. Wherever he went, he always encouraged people to follow the basic principles of "Shabad Guru" as "Gurbani" of "Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji" . He opened various platforms for the service of humanity and always inspired people to help the needy, irrespective of their caste and creed.
With the blessings of God Almighty VEERJI started building Gurudwara with the help of Sangat at Sohana near Chandigarh . Being a "Nishkam Sewak", he always performed "Kirtan & Katha", without charging any fee . Kirtan & Katha was a way of life for him and prachar of Sikhism was his sole aim. Consequently h e was awarded the award of "Nishkam Kirtania" on 24.04.1996 by Akal Takhat Sahib, the highest temporal seat of Sikhs .
He taught the Sikh Sangat the tenets of "Rehat Maryada" and baptized thousands into Sikhism. Eventually, inspired by him nearly 12.000 Sikhs took "Amrit" at Sri Anandpur Sahib - the birth place of "Khalsa" on the 300 th anniversary of Sikhism. Simultaneously, he was also an inspirational source to enlighten the people with regard to drug de addiction, Aids control, eye donation and also environmental pollution and other social evils.
